Goal: Healthy connections with God, others, and self


            This study will help you to explore your connections – your connections with God, with others, and even with yourself. We live in a fast-paced world that is full of distractions, and if we are not intentional about our faith, it is easy to wander away from God.

This is a journey of self-discovery. You will want to mark off time for prayer, reading, and meditation. If distractions come, and they will, that’s okay, just get back on track at the next opportunity. The main thing is to not give up!

In these pages you will find questions for reflection, scripture to meditate on, and you will be asked to write a spiritual autobiography. This autobiography is where you will journal your life experiences and where you saw God at work in those experiences. We will talk more about that at the end of Session 1.

My prayer for you as you begin this study is that  “… out of his [God’s] glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:16-19, NRSV
