Ron Weiss Visitation and Memorial

Visitation with family begins at 10:30 and followed by the service at 11:00 am
Ronald Fredric Weiss passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2025.
Ronald was the cherished son of Irving and Edith Weiss (Hacker) of Chicago, Illinois. Ron was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Janice and his parents, Irving and Edith. He is survived by his 4 children, Julie Baker (Jerry) of Avon, Illinois, Joy Weiss (Rusty Freeman) of Salem, Missouri, Jeffrey Weiss (Marla) of St. Charles, Missouri, and Jerry Weiss (Mary) of Florissant, Missouri. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Gayle (Don) and Darlene (Vic). Dear Grandfather to Ashley (Matt), Acacia (Dan), Kyanne (Jordon), Zachary (Jordan), Alex, Alyssa, and Devin (Molly). Dear Great Grandfather to Jaxson, Owen, Callie, Melia, Calette, Trey, Kaden and Ella.
United Methodist Men Outing
Saturday, February 22, 2025 @ 1:30 PM.
Tickets are available for $20 each all interested persons to gather and watch SLU Billikens take on Rhode Island in a basketball game at Chaifetz Arena. This is a good father/son event. The outing is coordinated by St. Luke’s UMM for UMM groups in the St. Louis area. United Women in Faith

Any member of the church is welcome to attend and listen to our speaker from the Susanna Wesley Family Learning Center which is supported by the United Methodist Church.
Susanna Wesley Family Learning Center in East Prairie, MO has been on a mission to build healthy families in southeast Missouri. It began operation in March of 1992. It was initially a pilot project of Epworth Children’s Home in St. Louis, MO. By 1998 the center’s programs had grown exponentially and it went out on its own, became a 501c3, and changed its name to Susanna Wesley Family Learning Center. This name was selected because Susanna is often referred to as a wonderful example of parenthood. The initial focus was to help families who were at risk of out of home placement of their children for various reasons.
