Pastor Linda's Weekly Blog: Indescribable!

Indescribable!

I pray that today finds you prospering in the Spirit and giving praise to our almighty, incomparable, indescribable God! We say quite often that God is awesome. And perhaps we say that because when we think of what God has done from Creation until now, it fills us with some awe – awesome!

In reality, there is no one word that fully describes the One who created Heaven and Earth, the One who carved out majestic mountains, breath-taking waterfalls, and all the hills and valleys of the world. The One who put the sun and moon in place and knows every single star by name. The One who gave each of us unique fingerprints, who created the ant and the whale. All of creation reveals God’s majesty. There is truly no limit to God’s creativity!

So, I ask you, what word would you use? How would you describe who Jesus is to you? This Sunday we will talk about the creative mind of God, but for now, let’s just say that God is Indescribable!

“To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible,

the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.”

1 Timothy 1:17, NRSV

Blessings,

Pastor Linda
